City Flattered By Scoreline

14/10/09

A 6-0 scoreline flattered Broome City as they were outplayed for much of the game by a Guantanamo team that looked the goods after last round's win over Hagan's Heroes.

While City will look to the scoreline to indicate their dominance, it was Guantanamo who controlled much of the game against their more prestigious opponents.

There is much concern now over the loss of influential marquee man Tony Delaney, who looks set to sit out the next three weeks with a thigh injury, while Jack Reagan will be missing as well.

A period of 10 minutes in the second half was enough for City to net 4 goals and put the match beyond doubt, with Guantanamo now looking to bounce back against champions NDFC.
