The last match of the season is embroiled in confusion at the moment, with people unsure as to what date it will be played. Racing Guantanamo officials have contacted BSA President Mike Doyle and are awaiting the verdict.

The return of Tim Rowe should bolster the mighty Oranges as they look to run in to the end of the season on a high note. Dan Walker will be missing from the fray as he jets down to Perth on a fact-finding mission. Doctors are still concerned with the fitness of Gordon Lawford who has been struck down by a bout of the mumps earlier this week.

18th September 2007
Racing Guantanamo welcome back Tim Gray and Gordon Lawford this week as they aim to get back on track after last weeks defeat to the Pirates. Sources at the club confirm that Tim Rowe may also return to the squad to bolster the physical presence in midfield.

4th September 2007
After last weeks final minute squad gathering and subsequent spectacular draw, AFC Racing Guantanamo go into the next round with the bye. This couldn't come at a better time, as Guantanamo need to rest star players Dan Walker (thigh) and Tim Rowe (calf) due to injury.

The next round should see the return of all players to the starting line-up, leading some pundits to suggest that a strong run in to the final may be on the cards.

Broome Soccer Association have rejected a request from Racing Guantanamo to change the fixtures next week. The mighty Oranges cannot field a team due to a Cuban religious festival. Pearl Coast Pirates have refused to allow a swap to made which would allow Guantanamo to have a bye next week.

Fans are said to be 'disgusted' with the desicion which will see Guantanmo unnecessarily drop points and are hinting at legal action.
